CI5 X: Cancer Incidence in Five Continents Volume X

Welcome to the Cancer Incidence in Five Continents (CI5) Volume X website. CI5 is published approximately every five years by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Association of Cancer Registries (IACR) and provides comparable high quality statistics on the incidence of cancer from cancer registries around the world.
Volume X contains information from 290 cancer registries in 68 countries about cancers diagnosed from 2003 to 2007. This website contains several utilities enabling the comparison of cancer rates across diverse populations and will be of interest to all those interested in understanding the burden of cancer in different regions of the world. The editors of Volume X hope it will be of value to anyone wishing to build up knowledge about the causes of the disease and how to control it. The full printed edition of Volume X and further online facilities will appear in 2014.
