 Cancer Incidence in Five Continents |

The Cancer Incidence in Five Continents (CI5) series of monographs, published every five years, has become the reference source of data on the international incidence of cancer.
The CI5 databases provide access
to detailed information on the incidence of cancer recorded by cancer
registries (regional or national) worldwide in two formats:
-
CI5 I-IX
which presents the basic data published in the nine volumes of CI5.
-
CI5plus which contains annual incidence for selected cancer registries
published in CI5 for the longest possible period.

In collaboration with the International Association of Cancer Registries (IACR), IARC launched a call on September 1st 2011 for datasets to be included in a new volume of Cancer Incidence in Five Continents. This important publication represents the definitive compilation of cancer incidence statistics from high-quality population-based cancer registries and is an invaluable resource for cancer researchers and those involved in cancer control worldwide. Volume X will provide results for cancers incident in the period 2003-2007. The deadline for receipt of data is December 1st 2011. More information is available at the IACR website.
